When receiving his Golden Ticket Paul said "My wife and I work as Parmedics in the Southampton area and sometimes have to work long hours so we really appreciate coming to East Devon for a bit of relaxation. They own a static caravan in the Beer area with glorious views over the Axe Valley. We usually try to get to Devon a few times a year and have already visited a number of Devon attractions however now that we have this wonderful ticket we will be able to revisit some of those that we went to years ago"
Paul went on to say "When we stay in Beer we make sure that we have a day on the Seaton Tram which is one of our favourite trips and then stop off for a bit to eat before wending our way back down the Valley. Over the years that we have come to Devon we've also visited some of the other attractions such as Pennywell Farm, Tuckers Maltings and Clovelly . We're due to visit Devon again during August so we hope to revisit some of these now that we have this fantastic prize. Thanks to the Devon Association of Tourist Attractions for giving us this Golden Opportunity"
Fran Frank, Honorary Secretary of the Association, said "Each year we try to incorporate a competition into our visitor guide not only to give them the opportunity to win Golden Tickets but also to ensure that they find out more about each of our attractions. Whatever age people are we can usually find one or more attraction that will suit them. Whether it be a hectic day at one of our major theme parks like Woodlands in the South Hams, a quiet stroll through the rose gardens at Rosemoor in North Devon or a trip on a steam train at the South Devon Railway everyone will find something to do whatever the weather"
